This restaurant was established in 1967 and was the 2nd PizzaExpress to open. The building dates back to 1881 and was originally a dairy, trading under the name Dairy Supply Company. The tiles on the walls are the original ones from the dairy and many of its features date back to 1967, which gives this restaurant a unique identity. Situated two minutes away from the British Museum it is a very popular place for families and tourists. Being in central London it is also very convenient for theatre-goers and shoppers. Coptic Street is well known for maintaining its tradition of playing classical music. For over 20 years live classical music has been played every Monday night, which is very popular with regular customers.
