Think you know Thame, famous for being "Causton" in Midsomer Murders? Why not try a fun race with a twist around the parks, alleys and streets! With short courses for families and juniors, plus longer ones for runners (2km to 8km), why not have a go at urban orienteering no experience is necessary and lots of help is available.

The twist? Theres no set route to the courses. Its a bit like a treasure hunt to find a series of checkpoints. Theyre marked by flags and we give you a timing chip to tag each checkpoint and prove youve been to them. There's no set route and you have to choose your own way, using a special map. Last year's event was hugely popular, with around 400 people taking part.

There will be seven courses, for all ages and abilities. It's organised by Thames Valley Orienteering Club and supported by Thame Town Council. Just come along on the day to Thame Town Hall and our friendly Welcome Team will help you choose a suitable course any time between 9.30am to 11.30am and dont forget your sense of adventure!
